Choose the downloaded image

Finish the edit in Gemini and save the image to your device. Use the saved JPEG, PNG or WebP file above. The cleaner reads its actual structure rather than relying on the filename. Other file formats need an export to one of those supported image types first.

Gemini is the source of your file, not a service Transfa connects to. No Google account or model selection is needed here.

Hidden file info and SynthID are different

Google’s SynthID embeds an invisible signal in generated media. That signal is part of the image, rather than an EXIF or XMP tag. Cleaning metadata does not remove it. Any visible watermark or corner symbol also remains.

Reference: Google DeepMind’s SynthID explanation ↗. Reviewed October 17, 2026. File-cleaning support is based on Transfa’s implementation; platform-label outcomes are separate.

Save a copy after your final edit

Keep the original and save the new -clean file. On a phone, use Save / share if available, or Download photo and the saving instructions shown with your result. Social apps may still apply their own labels. Read the platform differences before assuming an outcome.

Before you save

Does this remove Gemini’s SynthID watermark?

No. SynthID is embedded in the media itself. Transfa only cleans supported hidden file information.

Can I clean a Gemini video here?

This page starts with photos. Standard MP4 and MOV files can use the separate video beta; unsupported structures are rejected and video-label outcomes are not validated.
